Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP is improving its HSE system as part of international cooperation.
Specialists from Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP visited Alashankou, China, where they conducted an unscheduled inspection of a production unit. A working meeting with the management of the operating organization, SPI-X, was also held in Urumqi.
During the inspection, the focus was on occupational health and safety, industrial, fire and environmental safety, as well as the implementation of measures to reduce production risks.
At the meeting with SPI-X representatives, the participants discussed developing a safety culture and HSE leadership, enhancing the operational reliability of the main oil pipeline, improving the industrial safety management system and further cooperation between the companies.
The participants also exchanged experiences and best practices, reviewed modern approaches to industrial risk management and discussed joint measures to improve the safety of production facilities.
The working group included Mirbek Gusmanov, Director of HSE&ES Department; Askarzhan Akhmetzhanov, Chief Manager of CCMD; Yerkin Bektenbaev, Specialist of PCS&CD; Roman Bordunov, Mechanical Engineer of Operation Department of KCP.
Such meetings help develop HSE system, share experiences and improve the safety of industrial facilities.
